SDE-2 (Software Development Engineer 2)

Tenacio is a B2B API platform for digital verification and financial data integration, built for India's BFSI ecosystem. As an SDE-2, you'll work hands-on across our stack — architecting APIs, managing infrastructure, and setting the technical bar for a small, fast-moving engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Node.js/TypeScript APIs handling high-throughput, multi-tenant operations
• Design and manage MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas, with an eye on performance
• Oversee AWS infrastructure, containerization, and auto-scaling systems
• Implement security controls — rate limiting, IP whitelisting, abuse prevention
• Help maintain ISO 27001 and DPDP Act compliance across the systems you own
• Lead incident response and uphold client uptime commitments
• Support clients directly during escalations, across channels

What we're looking for

• 2.5+ years of production engineering experience
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript, REST API, and system design experience at production scale
• Hands-on AWS/cloud infrastructure and CI/CD experience
• Comfortable in both PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance tuning
• Working knowledge of application security — authentication, authorization, common vulnerability classes
• Self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
